In this 3-hour masterclass, we will explore how IFS can help with past life therapy as seen from both Western and Non-Western perspectives. We'll review the work of Roger Woolger, Brian Weiss, Carol Bowman, and others, and summarize the reincarnation studies of Ian Stevenson MD, and Jim Tucker MD. We will also delve into the rich Brazilian Spiritist healing techniques, including the remarkable life of Chico Xavier (Francisco Cândido Xavier), and explore the methods of Korean shamanism.
The model of IFS, with its understanding of legacy burdens, unattached burdens, and guides, will provide a framework that provides us with the essential tools for this work.
The concept of porosity of mind, which I introduced in my recent book on unattached burdens, The Others Within Us, will provide a framework and an understanding that allows our intellectual and skeptical parts to accept this work.
