ABOUT ABOUT

During this training Joanne will bring clarity to, and present an overview of dissociative disorders and complex trauma. She will illustrate the necessity of dissociation as a survival response and underscore the limitations of IFS when working with dissociative parts that are not readily available to "unblend" in the way regular parts may be. When access to Self is not immediately apparent this can result in frustration and a sense of failure for both therapist and client.

This training will help you by integrating dimensions into the already excellent framework of standard IFS. You will gain the knowledge of how to treat these clients safely, respectfully, ethically, and successfully.

Participants will learn:

  • Helpful ways of conceptualizing this therapy
  • How to diagnose and treat people with complex trauma and dissociative disorders
  • Strategies to strengthen and support managers’ ability to manage
  • Integration of the powerful treatment modality of IFS
  • The ability to use basic hypnotic language to enhance the use and impact of the basic IFS process through simple hypnotic wording.
  • Coping skills and affect management for all parts that will help clients get through the healing process more efficiently and protect their daily functioning

The workshop will be recorded and the recording made available to participants for 30 days. If unable to attend live please click on the ticket that purchases the recording.
