In this 2-day intro workshop to IFIO (Intimacy from the Inside Out, the IFS-informed approach to couples work), you will learn the key IFIO concepts and leave with tools you can apply to your couples work.
Participants will learn the following:
- how to help couples identify the protectors (coping strategies) that keep them out of connection
- how to support couples build new pathways for safer, courageous, and open-hearted connection
- how to facilitate each person’s connection to their own Self energy for more resilience and less reactivity
- how to recognize your own activated parts that get you stuck in your couples work
At Liz's request the workshop will not be recorded.
To get the most out of this workshop, you need previous IFS experience/exposure. IFIO builds on basic IFS concepts, which will not be explained in the workshop. Previous experience includes IFS Institute’s Level 1 or IFSCA Stepping Stone or 4-day intensive IFS course, or other IFS workshop experiences.
