Robert Falconer is best known for his deep involvement with Internal Family Systems therapy as a practitioner, teacher, and writer. His focus is on placing IFS in a multicultural and historical context and working with the others within us - what we find in our minds that is not part of our systems, called unattached burdens and guides in IFS.
Bob has come to recognize and appreciate that how we conceive of ourselves and the boundaries of our minds is vitally important not only as a major cause of personal suffering but also as an underlying factor in many of our modern social problems. His new book, The Others Within Us, gives a clear description of how to work with unattached burdens and guides, as it explores the farther reaches and wider implications of this subject.
During this 3 hour Masterclass Bob will present on:
- why unattached burdens are important
- distinguishing UBs from parts, legacy burdens and guides.
- an outline of how to work with unattached burdens and guides.
- how to be comfortable and stay in Self when working in this area.
A short demo of this work will be shown.
*** This event will be recorded and the recording will be available to live participants and those unable to attend live for 1 month following the Masterclass ***
